FRnet is an industrial field bus. It uses twisted pair as a transmission medium. Each FRnet port can connect up to 128 channels of discrete input and 128 channels of discrete output.
The I/O channel values are updated after a fixed time cycle (0.72 ms or 2.88 ms), regardless of how many FRnet I/O modules are connected to the FRnet network. Moreover, the update is controlled by the FRnet chip, so there is no need for a communication protocol.

Using FRnet, the user can easily and quickly create high-speed distributed I/O management systems.
